Introduction
LAEditor is an optional online code editor for LaraAdmin, built on the Ace editor. It lets the Super Admin open and edit the application's files in the browser. It is not part of LaraAdmin itself.
Status in 1.13
laraadmin/editor package was last released in 2017 (0.1.7) and has not been updated or tested for LaraAdmin 1.13 / Laravel 13. Don't install it on a production site.
LaraAdmin 1.13 still has the hooks for it. The Editor link in the Super Admin's navbar opens /admin/la_codeeditor. If the editor isn't installed, that page shows these installation steps:
composer require laraadmin/editor
php artisan la:editor
When vendor/laraadmin/editor exists, LAProvider loads its routes and controller, and the link opens the editor at /admin/la_editor.
Security
An online code editor can change any PHP file, which means anyone with access to it can run any code on your server. If you use one at all, use it only on a development copy, behind the Super Admin role, never on a site with real data. Edit your code locally and deploy it with git instead.
